The Corduroy collection brings the warmth of corduroy fabric into ceramics. Vertical grooves travel across the surface, inviting both touch and contemplation. The relief enhances the play of light and shadow, evoking the softness of corduroy in contrast with the firmness of grogged clay.
In this model, the conical shape emphasizes a sense of upward motion. The vertical grooves follow this ascent toward the neck, where the piece opens in a broad gesture that highlights its sculptural character.
